NECSS 2010 Speaker Lineup & Registration

NECSS 2010 registration is now open, and we have a fantastic line up of speakers in store for this year's conference, which will take place on Saturday April 17, 2010 from 10AM-6PM in New York City:

Our keynote speaker will be DJ Grothe, newly-installed president of the James Randi Educational Foundation and host of the JREF's new podcast "For Good Reason."

We're thrilled to announce that James Randi will be joining us as well. Randi was unable to attend NECSS 2009 due to health reasons, however we're ecstatic that he will be in New York for NECSS 2010.

Also joining us will be Steve Mirsky, host of Scientific American's weekly podcast "Science Talk," and a very special Science Based Medicine panel consisting of Val Jones, Kimball Atwood, David Gorski, and John Snyder.

The irreplaceable Jamy Ian Swiss will be back as emcee, and we will once again be entertained by the inimitable George Hrab. Of course, the entire Skeptics Guide to the Universe crew -- Steve Novella, Rebecca Watson, Jay Novella, Bob Novella, and Evan Bernstein -- will entertain and educate us with a live taping of the SGU podcast.

Plus, we might just have a few surprises in store...so don't miss out and register today! We've kept ticket prices the same as last year: $65 general admission, and $40 for students and NYC Skeptics/NESS members. Space is limited to 400 attendees, so register early -- last year we sold out and many folks were turned away at the door!
